MainStreet Fremont
MainStreet of Fremont is another of Richard’s passions. This organization is devoted to the preservation of historic structures and the health of downtown. Richard has served on the board for 7 years and twice as its president. This struggling group believes that if one strengthens the economic health of businesses, private individual business owners will have the resources and desire necessary to preserve the history of our community as exemplified by these buildings. Richard has been a hands-on volunteer, building the floats and even stepping in for Santa. Recognitions include Volunteer of the Year.
